Cookie Policy

In the normal course of operations, the computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Platform acquire navigation data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This data is processed for the technical management of the Platform and for the collection of analytical data on the related traffic.

Cookies are small text files that the website sends to the user's terminal, where they are stored and then transmitted back to the site on the next visit. Third-party cookies, on the other hand, are set by a website other than the one the User is visiting. On each site, in fact, there may be elements (images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains, etc.) that reside on servers other than that of the site visited.

As part of the Platform, the following types of cookies are used:

  1. (First-party) session cookies are used. These are not stored persistently and disappear when the browser is closed. They are limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to enable the safe and efficient exploration of the Platform and its Services.
  2. Analytical cookies treated as technical cookies, aimed at collecting information based on users' interactions while browsing the website in order to generate statistical and aggregate information on the use of the site. In order to exclude the processing of identification data, they collect the following information:
  • the IP address, masking its last 3 bytes
  • the operating system used
  • the type of browser
  • the type of device (PC, smartphone, etc.)
  • summary of visits to the website
  • geographical origin
  • downloads, searches and pages visited on the site
  1. Third-party (YouTube) technical cookies are also used. These are placed and stored, subject to the User's enabling them by means of a special flag provided on the Platform's website, in the User's terminal device.

With regard to the nature and functions of third-party technical cookies, please refer to the information provided by these third parties.

In any case, the cookies used within the Platform do not enable the identification or profiling of the user, who can always choose to enable or disable cookies by adjusting the settings of their browser according to the instructions made available by the relevant providers.

It should also be noted that there are links to third-party sites and applications within the Platform. When the user uses these links, he or she leaves the Platform website and accesses other resources that are not under the direct control of the Data Controller, who, therefore, will not be responsible for the navigation, security and personal data processing procedures operated by the other sites, even in the presence of co-branding or display of the ministerial logo. We therefore recommend a careful examination of the security and confidentiality procedures of the site visited, which may transmit further cookies, read those already present on the user's hard disk and request or acquire further personal information.

With regard to the disabling and deletion of the aforementioned cookies, please refer to the instructions provided by the manufacturers of the relevant browser, within the relevant websites, an option that offers precise control over privacy.
